Photo workshop in the Danube Delta

Little-known corners of the Danube Delta, away from mass tourism. We travel by boat through canals, lakes, flooded forests and areas populated by rare birds. Accommodation is in a traditional local guesthouse, a fixed point from where we depart each day.

Period: 01-04 May 2025

Day 1 - Arrival & evening canal walk
We arrive at our accommodation, get to know each other and discuss what's next. In the evening, we go out on the canals for the first shots in the sunset light.

Day 2 - Sunrise, birds and landscapes
We get out on the water early to catch the sunrise. We photograph pelicans, egrets, cormorants and other birds in flight or in their natural habitat. In the afternoon we return for feedback and editing.

Day 3 - Wild areas and spectacular sunsets
We explore other areas of the Delta, with special stops in places where we know we can find rare subjects or unusual lights. We focus on composition and patience. In the evening we return to the water for sunset.

Day 4 - Final frames & conclusions
Last morning outing on the water, then we return for a selection session, conclusions and discussion. We part, but keep the images with us.

Accommodation is in double or single rooms in a traditional guesthouse.
Meals: 3 meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) with local products, fresh fish and specialities from the Delta.
