Ivan Patzaichin Festival, one of the events that we organise in memory of Ivan Patzaichin and his boundless love for Tulcea and the Danube Delta, takes place every year in September. The event includes a series of competitions and walks on Lake Ciuperca, alternative education workshops for children, debates on the sustainable development of the Delta and the role that communities can play in setting favourable development directions, open-air film screenings and art exhibitions, video mapping.

The festival is organised by the Ivan Patzaichin Association - Mila 23 together with the City Hall
Tulcea and Tulcea County Council.

The Festival is supported by AQUA Carpatica and Kaufland Romania and the partners of the Ivan Patzaichin Association - Mila 23: Destination Management Organisation of Tulcea Municipality, Department for Sustainable Development, Romanian American Foundation, ARBDD - Administration of the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve, Liszt Institute - Hungarian Cultural Centre Bucharest, DC Communication, Deltaica, Ivan Pescar, Gastro Local Association and Astra National Museum Complex Sibiu.
