Event Programme: Danube Festival
Between 12 and 14 September, we'll meet you in Sulina, the easternmost point of the country, for the second edition of the #CuCleanWaters Danube Festival - an event dedicated to celebrating and protecting the river from plastic pollution.
Music, interactive environmental debates and workshops, kayak rides, local crafts, exhibitions and film screenings await you in the Danube harbour!
Entry is free.
We keep the beat with guest artists and local folk ensembles.
We travel along the river in our imagination, from the source to the spill, with guests from other Danube countries, and together we find solutions to the environmental problems we face.
We let the Danube swing us from the kayak under the shady willows.
We admire local handicrafts and visit the tourist attractions: the Lighthouse of the European Commission of the Danube, the Cosmopolitan Cemetery, the Old Sulina Exhibition.
