About the event

The festival celebrates the region's valuable local gastronomy, with a focus on: grilled, smoked, or marinated river eels, fish soups, Dobrogean pies, baklava, fruit preserves, artisanal products, local tinned goods, cheeses, and traditional dishes from the Danube Delta and the entire region. Of course, Dobrogean wines will accompany us throughout this journey of tastes and senses.

In equal measure, the festival is also dedicated to the artistic heritage of local ethnic communities. This means we will enjoy live music, quality performances, and all sorts of workshops and activities for children (and not only), all in a relaxed atmosphere.

In short, these will be the ingredients for the four days of the festival, which began and was known two years ago as „Scrumbii de Florii” (May Day Sprats), transformed and developed last year and this year under the theme „Scrumbii de Rusalii” (Pentecost Sprats). Entry is free throughout the event and we will return with further details soon!
